BIOGRAPHY:

The memoirs are set in 1914-1918 against the backdrop of World War I as it was raging in Europe. Elisabeth Shelley describes in a foreword her purpose in writing this book - "to set down for you" ("my Boga") memories of episodes which brought a beloved child into her life.
