BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Jon L. Daniels was born in El Paso, TX. He graduated from the Loyola University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA, and became a practicing dentist in Alamogordo, NM in 1960. After four years of private practice, he joined the Army and travelled to many different places, including California, Washington D.C., and Vietnam. He worked as an Army dentist in Fort Riley, Kansas, and earned his Masters degree in hospital administration and a specialization in prosthodontics. He also attained the rank of Colonel before retiring and resuming his previous career of maintaining a private practice, this time in prosthodontics.

Jon was an active member of the community. He participated in the Rotary Club for over fifty years, supported fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Foundation, in addition to serving on its board, volunteered at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, and was a part of the Military Officers Association of America.

Dr. Jon Daniels passed away on April 11, 2011, in Las Cruces, NM.
