BIOGRAPHY:

Ken and Nancy Hall travel worldwide, photographing along the way. Using her journal, Nancy has transcribed notes and descriptive materials for each of the images in this collection. Ken’s lifelong interest in photography began in his Grandfather’s darkroom as a pre-teenager. He pursued this activity as a Physical Science Laboratory student employee while attending New Mexico A&M, now known as New Mexico State University. His photos also were published in the college’s yearbooks.

Later, under the guidance of his mentors John Sexton and Ray McSaveney and with Nancy at his side, Ken refined his craft, specializing in medium and large formats. As a volunteer, Ken was the journalistic photographer for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross. In this capacity he also developed and taught photography technique classes for Public Information Office and Disaster Response personnel. Ken processed his work in his personal color darkroom lab while in Los Angeles.
